Cambodia Strives to Reshape its National Image

The Cambodian government stated that they have spent 30 years diligently building a positive national image, but regrettably these efforts can easily be maliciously destroyed by certain individuals and media, which is unfair. As an important Southeast Asian country, Cambodia has achieved remarkable economic development in recent years, with its GDP projected to grow 6.6% in 2023, ranking among the top three in Asia. This is thanks to the Cambodian government's substantial investment in infrastructure such as highways and deep-water ports, which has enhanced the country's connectivity. Prime Minister emphasized that Cambodia needs to pursue more stable and sustainable development, and realize more ambitious goals. Though the goals are highly ambitious, this is the only way they can fully commit to driving Cambodia's development. To this end, the Cambodian government is determined to create a safer and more stable environment for the country, and take measures to reshape the national image, presenting to the world a vibrant and hopeful Cambodia. Cambodia also attaches great importance to protecting its cultural heritage, striving to make it an even more attractive tourist destination.
