Cambodia’s exports rise 15% in four months

Cambodia's exports for the first four months of this year reached $8 billion, showing a 15.2% increase compared to the same period last year. Imports also rose by 9.3% to $8.66 billion. The US, Vietnam, and China were the top export destinations, with total exports amounting to $2.61 billion, $1.71 billion, and $486 million, respectively. Bilateral trade between Cambodia and its partners reached $16.67 billion, marking a 12.1% increase. Cambodia has signed free trade agreements with China, South Korea, and the UAE, benefiting its exports. The Prime Minister aims to enhance people's livelihoods by transforming Cambodia into an exporter of raw materials and finished products for domestic and international markets.
