Cambodia's economy has displayed robust resilience, attracting a substantial influx of foreign investment. In the first half of 2024, Cambodia attracted $3.25 billion in investments, a near-doubling. Despite facing multiple pressures on the global economy, Cambodia's economy is projected to grow at 6% this year. Cambodia has encouraged French enterprises to increase their investments, with France being one of Cambodia's most crucial trade partners. The second Cambodia-France Business Forum convened, where the two sides signed a memorandum of cooperation, advancing their bilateral economic and investment collaboration. Cambodia is actively working to optimize its business environment, drawing in more foreign capital, cementing its status as a prominent investment destination in Southeast Asia.
