Cambodia is actively promoting rapid economic growth, aiming for an average annual growth rate of 6.5% in the medium to short term. Following the pandemic, the country's economic activities have steadily recovered, with GDP growth rates of 3.1%, 5.1%, 5%, and 6% from 2021 to 2024. According to the National Bank's forecasts, the economic growth rate will reach 6.2% in 2025, exceeding estimates from some international institutions. Future growth is expected to benefit mainly from the stable development of garment exports, tourism, and agriculture, as well as continued inflows of foreign direct investment, demonstrating the strong potential of Cambodia's economy.
