Chinese Foreign Ministry: Cambodian PM Hun Manet to pay official visit to China

At a Foreign Ministry press conference on 11 September, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning noted that Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet will pay an official visit to China from 14 to 16 September at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang. President Xi Jinping will meet with Prime Minister Hun Manet, while Premier Li Qiang and Chairman Zhao Leji will have talks and meetings with him respectively.
Mao Ning said the visit is Prime Minister Hun Manet's first official visit after taking office, reflecting the new Cambodian government's great attention to the development of China-Cambodia relations. This year is the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Cambodia and the Year of Sino-Cambodian Friendship, China looks forward to the visit to plan the future period of Sino-Cambodian comprehensive strategic cooperation, in particular, to promote the "Industrial Development Corridor" and "Fish and Rice Corridor" and other co-operation initiatives as soon as possible to see the results of the implementation of the high quality and high standard construction of the new era of Sino-Cambodian cooperation, to build a new era of high level and high standard.
