Cambodia Drives New Developments in Industry and Employment
The Investment Committee of the Cambodian Development Council has reviewed two major Special Economic Zone (SEZ) projects, covering a total area of approximately 150 hectares and spanning multiple high-value industries. These zones are expected to attract high-quality foreign investment, enhance industrial clustering, promote economic restructuring and technological upgrading, and create numerous high-skilled job opportunities for the local workforce. As the projects steadily progress, Cambodia’s layout in the digital economy and modern industrial sectors is beginning to take shape, demonstrating the country’s commitment to continuously improving the investment environment and fostering high-quality economic growth.
