AIIB Pledges $2 Billion to Support Cambodia’s Infrastructure and Energy Development.
The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has announced a $2 billion commitment to support Cambodia’s 2026–2030 Country Cooperation Framework (CCF), covering major projects in energy, transport, and regional connectivity. The Cambodian government stated that by 2030, renewable energy will account for 70% of the national energy mix, aiming for long-term carbon neutrality. The AIIB President emphasized that clean energy and infrastructure development will be key cooperation areas, helping Cambodia enhance its regional and global competitiveness and drive sustained economic growth.
