Cambodia Marks Civil Aviation Day with Global Investment Focus
Cambodia has designated December 7 as Civil Aviation Day, emphasizing the strategic role of the aviation sector in the country’s economic development. Its aviation network facilitates the flow of people and goods, boosting trade, tourism, and government revenue. With the implementation of the 2025–2035 National Air Transport Policy, the sector’s competitiveness and international connectivity are set to increase. By 2035, Cambodia aims to accommodate 25 million passengers and 205,000 tons of air cargo. The steadily growing aviation market presents new opportunities for investors, driving economic diversification and sustainable development.
