Cambodia-ASEAN Trade Surges Over 11% in First Half of 2024
Cambodia saw robust trade growth with ASEAN in the first half of 2024. Data shows bilateral trade reached $7.96 billion, up 11.6% year-on-year. Exports stood at $2.68 billion, while imports hit $5.28 billion. Vietnam, Thailand, and Singapore are major partners. Cambodia exported agricultural products and garments, and imported food and electronics. Trade with RCEP members accounted for 64% of total trade, reaching $16.9 billion, up 14%. Cambodia's overall international trade hit $26 billion, up 12.7%. The thriving trade is driving Cambodia's economic development.
